Lake Tarik

The mist-shrouded inland sea known as Lake Tarik sits in Talingarde. It is a freshwater lake and the largest body of water on the island.

A fair number of small port villages exist on the southern side of the lake, from where fishermen hunt for trout, amberscale and cold water crayfish. Crayfish in particular are prized, but in Lake Tarik they never grow to the gigantic size sometimes seen in Lake Scardynn nearer Farholde.

These villages are suffering terribly and some have been destroyed entirely, burned the ground, leaving terrified civilians behind.
